How to password protect a folder
(For Computer Solutions hosted websites only)
 

1. Log into the control panel at www.ineedbob.com/menu

 


2. Click on File Manager

 

3. Click on the name of your website to enter the folder

 

4. If the folder you want to protect is shown click once on the blue folder image Description: http://www.ineedbob.com/instructions/img8.gif on the left (not the folder name).  If needed, click to go into the subfolders until you see the folder you wish to protect.

 

5. Click on Description: http://www.ineedbob.com/instructions/imgB.gif to add users who can access the folder.

 

6. Click Description: http://www.ineedbob.com/instructions/imgD.gif to add users who can access the folder.

 

7. Click Description: http://www.ineedbob.com/instructions/img11.gif when done..

To add / delete / modify users on an already password protected folder:

Follow steps above, except you will now have an Description: http://www.ineedbob.com/instructions/img16.gif button where the Create previously was. Click it and you can make any changes to the users who can access the protected folder
